KFC – Kentucky Fried Chicken is a globally recognized brand and one of the leading fast food chains of Pakistan started a campaign namely Mitao Bhook. Some amount from every Mitao Bhook bucket sold at KFC went to a number of children rescue centers.
KFC Pakistan with a franchise located at Khayaban-e-Ittehad organized an event on 23rd March 2017 which highlighted the partnership with Zindagi Trust and a corporate social responsibility with the goal of a brighter Pakistan. Partnership with Zindagi Trust which contributes towards providing education to underprivileged children played a major part which boosted the CSR campaign.
Less fortunate children but with big hearts for their country of Pakistan were the limelight of this event. At the venue were celebrities and other famous personalities such as Frahan Ali Agha, Sarwat Gillani, Adeel Chaudhry who showed immense support to this campaign also the CEO of KFC Pakistan Mr. Raza Pirbhai were present on this event who sang patriotic songs with the children. Some students of DHA Suffa University were also present at the venue along with their mentor Mr. Muntazir Haider.
The hashtags used being #mitaobhook, #KFCPakistan were a good marketing strategy for KFC Pakistan. The promotion of the fastfood chain was massive and it reflects that they contribute to the society as well.
The event held provided the learning that events like these can promote our being in a cultural community. Giving to others reflect our social existence in a modern society.
